We had an extra-special Valentine's Day this year. Charlie's Aunt Lacy, Uncle John, and cousins Margaret & Jack drove down from Memphis to spend the weekend with us. We had SO MUCH fun with the Apperson Family! And, believe me -- Charlie was surrounded by love. If he wasn't getting smooches from Lacy or John, he was getting hugs from Margaret or Jack. And that's not even counting all of the love he got from his mommy & daddy! All weekend, we relaxed, played Wii, and watched movies. Of course, on Saturday evening, Hill & John made a delicious chicken dinner on the famous Green Egg. Lacy created a wonderful salad and I whipped up some homemade mac & cheese. We all agreed that it was the best way to spend Valentine's Day -- with the ones we love.

This was the first time Charlie had ever met his Uncle John. Of course, he loved him right away . . . and I think the feeling was mutual!
